logo colorOPEN TO ENGLISH-SPEAKING WOMEN OF ALL NATIONALITIES

Welcome!

This is the AWC—a Club that welcomes all women,
of any Nationality, who speak English.

It was wonderful to see so many women at our Coffee Morning,
the official launch of the 2018-2019 AWC year!

The American Women’s Club is beginning a new year of activities—and continues to be the same source of support, information, and friendship for our members. As this year’s president, I want to welcome our new members, and thank our long-term members for making the club what it is!
We hope that you will take a look at our calendar of events and see something that interests you— or that you will share what interests you with other members!

Remember, there are many ways to participate:
—Stop by one of our Board meetings, usually held on the first Monday of the month, members are always welcome!
—Come to a morning Breakfast Club, or an evening Open Club Night; bring the kids to a Family Picnic, take in a concert or a movie. Help out at a charity event, contribute to our collections of toiletries or supplies for our AWC charities. And of course, come and catch up at our monthly Luncheons!
—Check in on WhatsApp or Facebook, where you can ask a question, share an experience, pass along some useful information—and extend a helping hand to other women.

Hasta pronto, amigas—
Kathy Sherretts
AWC Seville President

The three pillars of the American Women’s Club are:
• Social…..meeting other English-speaking women and joining each other for coffee, tapas, monthly luncheons, kids’ groups, plus many more activities. If you are new to the city, come and pick our brains, we have a fund of knowledge of Sevilla among us!
• Cultural…..join us for concerts of all varieties, visit museums and heritage sites, borrow books from our excellent Library, join the Book club, Craft Group, Games Nights, etc. etc…
• Charitable…..help us give back to the city that has given us so much pleasure. We support three charities, Sonrisa de un Nino supports poor children and their families; Las Hermanitas de los Pobres and El Pozo Santo give shelter to the elderly.  We raise funds by having Mince Pie events, home-made cake and coffee mornings, our very successful Christmas raffle, and other events….have you any ideas?  We would love to hear from you.
