Here are some of the activities and resources of the American Women’s Club:
Coffee Morning/Book Sale
Our membership year kicks off in September with a coffee morning and ends with a June coffee morning at which we have a used book sale.
Gathering for a mid-day meal with fellow members is a great way to keep in regular touch and discover new restaurants in Seville.
We support three local charities through fund-raising and collection of food, clothing and household goods.
This publication provides all the information on upcoming events and on-going activities. It is sent out by e-mail at the beginning of each month; paper copies are available for those without email.
Organized by our Welcome Committee, these outings give new arrivals a chance to get to know veteran members while enjoying the best tapas and drinks Seville has to offer.
We celebrate major holidays, organizing Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas parties for children and adults, and an Easter egg hunt for children in the Spring.
We organize excursions to museums and monuments, take part in local cultural activities, offer talks by members and much more.
Monthly Breakfast Club
Members who are free in the morning get together at a local café to enjoy a good chat over coffee or tea.
Monthly Book Club
Members meet to discuss the current book club selection and how it relates to our lives. All members are invited to attend, even if they haven’t read the book.
The AWC maintains the largest English-language library in Seville. Books are available for check-out Monday through Friday.
This membership list is available on the website and contains contact information that enables members to easily stay in touch with one another. Members can also download a printable version.
Monthly Family Meet-Up in the Park
These picnics provide AWC families with a chance to get together, let the kids run wild and enjoy the great outdoors.
Our monthly get-together at a local bar features board games, tapas, and lots of laughs.
